Lydia Wickham and Rick Evans

United Way of Schuyler County announces Campaign Leaders Lydia Wickham and Rick Evans who will once again help lead the community toward this year’s goal of $123,000 to help 21 local agencies. United Way of Schuyler County Executive Director Peggy Scott said, “Deepest thanks go to Lydia and Rick. Our all volunteer board of directors of United Way of Schuyler County work hard every year for an outstanding campaign.”

Evan’s volunteer journey involves his incessant work with the Boy Scouts of America for 20 years and a winemaker for Castel Grisch Winery. Wickham’s journey was through Walt Disney World, and she is currently Director of Human Resources for Cayuga Addiction Recovery. She volunteers for Boy Scout Troop 2674 in Watkins Glen and is a member of the Hector-area Lions Club.

Scott said, “We are so very appreciative of the community’s continued support and want everyone to know that their dollars are put to good use. All donations and monies raised through special events remain in Schuyler County helping our friends and neighbors.” The 21 agencies assisted include healthcare, youth programs, literacy, and senior citizens to name a few.
