First Responders from the volunteer Fire Departments of Montour Falls, Beaver Dams, and Burdett participated in a corn hole tournament that raised $537.00 for United Way of Schuyler County.

The tournament was hosted by the Burdett Fire Department that graciously provided the setting, and donated back monies raised from drinks and food items that were donated and cooked on site. Mike LaMoreaux donated his winnings back from a 50/50 raffle.

First place: John & Justin Andrews - Montour Falls Fire Dept. 2nd place: Kirk Smith & Kent Thurston - Beaver Dams Fire Dept. 3rd place: Robin Lokken & Breck Spaulding - Burdett Fire Dept.

We are so grateful for all those that turned out to support this tournament. Everyone had a great time, and the monies raised will go directly back to the 17 agencies that support our friends and neighbors that reside in Schuyler County. The agencies serve men, women, and children in the fields of health care, children’s programs, libraries, animal welfare, and so many more.
